The Internship aims to provide newly qualified unemployed graduates an opportunity to gain workplace experience within various business functions, namely: Financial Market/Sales and Cash Operations/Exchange Control. This opportunity provides the incumbent with a foundation in banking and financial services acumen and gives practical guidance on how to apply their knowledge and skills in the workplace – Combining banking and financial services theory with real-world solutions.
What the Programme Offers:
Upon completion of the internship programme, the incumbent will be able to:
- Identify and solve problems in which responses display that responsible decisions using critical and creative thinking have been made.
- Work effectively with others as a member of a team.
- Organise and manage oneself and activities responsibly and effectively.
- Collect, analyse, organise, and critically evaluate performance.
- Communicate effectively using mathematical and language skills.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the world as a set of related systems by recognising that problem-solving contexts do not exist in isolation; and
- Benefit from full personal development, thus contributing to the social and economic development of South African society at large.
Requirements:
- South African citizenship.
- Available to start immediately.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or higher.
- No work experience required.
- Must currently be unemployed.
- Must have no completed a BANKSETA Internship before.
- Business level English communications skills.
