Job Purpose

Successful candidates will assist the RNC Construction teams during maintenance and construction activities while performing general worker duties to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and effectively.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

-Grade 9 or higher.

-Alternatively, at least 6 months’ relevant work experience.

-Be medically fit for duty.

-Ability to communicate in English.

-Be alert and safety conscious.

-Ability to work under adverse weather conditions.

-Willingness to work extended hours when required.

-Willingness to relocate or work outside the designated depot.

-Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

-Ability to work in noisy environments.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Carrying out duties assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Loading and offloading construction materials.
• Cleaning construction and maintenance sites.
• Removing weeds and excess rubble.
• Stacking materials.
• Sweeping work areas.
• Assisting with general maintenance and construction activities.
• Maintaining punctuality and professional work habits.
