SANParks is offering a 24-month structured internship programme designed to provide practical workplace experience in key departments such as Human Resources, Tourism, and Finance.
Overview of the SANParks Internship Programme
The SANParks Graduate Internship Programme is one of the most respected public sector training opportunities in South Africa, especially for graduates seeking their first workplace experience.
Programme Details:
- Duration: 24 months
- Stipend: R6,355.69 – R10,486.58 per month
- Eligibility Age: 18 – 35 years
- Qualification Level: NQF Level 6 or 7

Qualification Required:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management

Tourism Department (X1 Post)

- Diploma/Degree in Tourism or Hospitality Management
Key Exposure:
- Visitor services operations
- Reservation systems

Finance Department (X1 Post)
Qualification Required:
- Diploma or BCom in Finance
Key Exposure:
- Budgeting processes
- Financial reporting
- Procurement compliance

Administration (Accounting) (X1 Post)
Qualification Required:
- Diploma in Accounting

- Bookkeeping support
- Financial transactions
- Reconciliation processes

Internship Stipend
Successful candidates will receive:
- R6,355.69 – R10,486.58 per month
👉 Stipend depends on qualification:
- Diploma = lower range
- Degree = higher range
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Be unemployed
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Hold an NQF Level 6 or 7 qualification
- Have studied at a recognised institution
- Not have previous internship experience
- Not have work experience in their field
