About the Magalies Water Bursary Programme 2027

Applicants may be studying towards:

  • N4–N6 Mechanical Engineering;
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (NQF Level 6); or

Funding is available for:

  • N4–N6 Electrical Engineering;
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering (NQF Level 6); or

Civil Engineering Bursaries

  • N4–N6 Civil Engineering;
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering (NQF Level 6); or

  • Diploma in Water Care (NQF Level 6); or

  • Diploma in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry (NQF Level 6); or

  • Diploma in Biotechnology/Microbiology (NQF Level 6); or

Who Can Apply for the Magalies Water Bursary 2027?

The bursary is aimed at young South Africans aged 18 to 35 years who are eligible to study at an accredited and registered South African institution of higher learning.

  2. Grade 11 and Matric results if currently in Matric;
  3. Matric certificate if Grade 12 has already been completed;
