Key Responsibilities
Account Opening & Maintenance (75%)
- Vet and process account application forms
- Ensure KYC compliance
- Capture customer details and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to manage the customer portfolio
Customer Retention (20%)
- Promote bank products and reactivate dormant accounts
- Collect feedback and offer customer solutions
- Cross-sell services and refer sales leads
Business Management (5%)
- Support daily business operations
- Manage vendor coordination, stationery, and assets
Risk and Compliance
- Follow Absa’s risk frameworks and compliance policies
- Report incidents and contribute to a culture of responsible banking
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Higher Certificate in Business, Commerce, or Management
- University Degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred)
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication in English and Swahili
Added Advantage:
- Knowledge of Accounting
- Certificate of Proficiency (COP)
