AFGRI Farmer Development invites suitably qualified South African students to apply for the 2025 Work Integrated Learning Programme. This internship is aimed at providing experiential training to students in the final year of their agricultural studies.
Fields of Study:
- National Diploma: Agriculture (Crop Production)
- National Diploma: Agriculture (Animal Production)
- National Diploma: Agriculture (Irrigation Systems)
Minimum Requirements:
- South African citizen under 35 years of age
- Enrolled for final-year studies in one of the qualifying agricultural diplomas in 2025
- WIL must be a compulsory requirement of the qualification (attach academic record & institutional WIL letter)
- No more than one year of full-time work experience in the field
- Must be based in the city of hire
- Good academic performance will be an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a cross-functional team on a WIL project assigned by a Line Manager
- Gain practical, on-the-job experience aligned with your qualification
- Assist with team-based project work and additional tasks aligned to business goals
Programme Duration:
12-month fixed-term internship contract
