BASF South Africa Trust invites students to apply for Bursaries Programme 2025 academic year.

Bursary Application closing date  is 10 January 2025

The BASF Bursary Programme for 2025 is now open for applications. This bursary is specifically aimed at supporting Black female students (African, Coloured, and Indian) who are studying in Chemistry or Engineering Sciences. If you meet the eligibility criteria, this could be an excellent opportunity to secure financial support for your studies.

How to Apply:

There is no formal application form for this bursary. To apply, students need to submit an email application with the required documents. Here’s how to apply:

  2. Required Documents:
    • Certified copy of your ID document
    • Certified copy of your Matric certificate/results
    • Certified copy of your full academic record, including your most recent results
    • Proof of your parent or guardian’s income (latest payslips if employed, audited financial statements if self-employed, affidavit if unemployed, proof of grant or pension if applicable)
    • Curriculum Vitae (CV) (maximum 3 pages)
    • Essay (see topic below):
      • Essay topic: “The current and future state of my field of study, how I will contribute when I graduate, and why I should receive financial support to study in this field.”
      • Formatting: 12pt font, 1.5 line spacing, and a 2-page limit in either Microsoft Word or PDF format.
    Important: All documents must be submitted in PDF format.
