About Sanlam Corporate Learnership

Sanlam Corporate, part of the Sanlam Group, is offering a 12-month Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP) Learnership aimed at equipping unemployed youth with practical skills and a national qualification. The programme targets designated groups to help build a sustainable, diverse, and empowered talent pipeline for the future.

High-performing learners may be considered for permanent junior roles at the end of the programme.


What the Learnership Offers

  • 12-month employment contract

  • Financial assistance for study purposes
  • A nationally recognised Certificate in Wealth Management (NQF Level 4)
  • Classroom training, on-the-job coaching, and assessments
  • Mentorship, a portfolio of evidence, and real work experience

What You Will Do

  • Learn about Sanlam’s products and services
  • Attend classroom-based learning and complete assessments
  • Participate in practical, onsite training
  • Compile a Portfolio of Evidence
  • Complete a logbook for workplace-based learning
  • Execute assigned tasks under supervision

Minimum Requirements

  • South African citizen
  • Age: 18 to 35 years
  • Unemployed and not currently studying or holding a tertiary qualification
  • Completed Grade 12 with:
    • Minimum 50% in English
    • Minimum 50% in Maths, Maths Literacy or Accounting
  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Access to reliable transport
  • Fluent in English (read, write, and speak)
