AVBOB, in partnership with the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA), is offering a structured 12-month learnership programme aimed at developing young professionals in the long-term insurance sector.

• Accredited theoretical training through an approved training provider
• Practical workplace experience at AVBOB branches
• Structured work-based learning
• Registered qualification upon successful completion

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must be between 18 and 35 years old
• Must have a valid Matric certificate
• Must have passed English and either Mathematics, Maths Literacy, or Accounting
• Must not have attended any previous learnerships
• Must not be registered with any academic institution or currently studying
• Must have reliable transport
• Must be willing to work in AVBOB offices within the Northern Region

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and show initiative

Stipend and Conditions

• A monthly stipend will be paid for the duration of the 12-month programme
• Placement will be determined by the company
• Preference will be given to suitably qualified individuals from previously disadvantaged groups
