Internship Overview
This initiative by the City of Johannesburg is designed to help students fulfill academic or experiential training requirements while gaining real-world knowledge and skills in a government setting. This 18-month internship is a chance to learn from experienced professionals, build your CV, and open doors to future employment.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen residing in the City of Johannesburg
- Hold a Grade 12 certificate
- Have completed a National Diploma (NQF Level 6 or higher) in one of the following:
- Public Administration
- Public Management
- Finance or Financial Accounting
- Logistics
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

- Front office receptionist and telephonist tasks
- Basic financial management
- Professional communication and reporting
