Internship Overviews
The role of the Receptionist Intern is to engage with all stakeholders (clients, tenants, staff, suppliers) as the first point of contact for the company and provide excellent service. Areas of responsibility include: Switchboard and Reception, Leasing Administration Support, HR Support and Office Support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer, screen appropriately and forward incoming phone calls and take and email messages.
- Receive and sort mail, deliveries, courier service.
- Load listings on website portal
- Provide Leasing Agent link to the listing
- Manage staff attendance register and do report
- Notify staff of any upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries
- On staff termination, remove system and building access
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
- Advantageous: Certificate/Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Relations, or a related field will be advantageous.
Advantageous
- No prior work experience required;
- Experience in a receptionist, front desk, administration, or customer service role will be advantageous.
- Experience working in a professional office environment will be advantageous.
- Experience with switchboard operations and general administrative support.
