The HR Intern will support the HR team in daily administrative tasks, special projects, and initiatives that contribute to the overall success of the department. Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Onboarding Assistance: Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. This may involve preparing onboarding materials, coordinating orientations, and answering employee questions.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, assist with data entry and reporting, and manage other administrative tasks as needed.
- Project Support: Contribute to various HR projects, such as developing training programs, conducting employee surveys, or implementing new HR initiatives.
- Employee Relations: Assist with employee relations activities, such as responding to employee inquiries, resolving basic issues, and promoting positive employee engagement.
- Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing HR data and creating reports to identify trends and insights related to workforce planning, employee engagement, or other relevant HR metrics.
- Other duties as assigned. This allows for flexibility and exposure to different aspects of HR based on business needs.
Requirements:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
- (Optional) Prior internship experience in HR or a related field is a plus.
