About the Role:
You will work within the municipality’s Finance Department under the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This role is a structured development programme focused on providing real-world exposure to key municipal finance processes in line with the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA) and National Treasury frameworks.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with the implementation of the National Treasury Budget Reform Programme.
- Supporting municipal budget processes and the development of statistical reports.
- Capturing and managing financial data electronically across all finance sections.
- Participating in formal training and workplace development initiatives.
Who Should Apply?
- Unemployed South African graduates aged 21-35.
- Hold a completed three-year BCom Degree with a major in Accounting, Economics, Internal Audit, or Financial Management.
- Have no prior work experience required.
- Possess strong communication skills and computer literacy.
