South African National Parks (SANParks), in partnership with CATHSSETA, is offering a life-changing 18-month Field Guiding Skills Programme for 2026. This is a structured pathway into the conservation and eco-tourism sector, combining accredited training with hands-on experience in one of South Africa’s iconic national parks.
Successful candidates will be based at the beautiful Bontebok National Park in the Western Cape, where they will learn essential guiding and conservation skills while gaining valuable workplace exposure.

- Duration: 18 Months (6 months training + 12 months placement)

- Stipend: R2,695 (first 6 months) / R3,500 (following 12 months)

Who Should Apply?
