What is the UNISA Internship Programme?

Interns will receive a stipend of R120,925 per annum and will be required to work under supervision at UNISA’s campuses for a duration of 12 months. The internship positions are available in various fields across multiple regions in South Africa, with a focus on enhancing the capacity of the university’s staff and students.

Requirements

Applications for the UNISA Internship Programme are open to the following categories of individuals:

  1. Unemployed South African citizens who have completed a UNISA qualification equivalent to NQF Level 6, 7, or above.
  2. Individuals who preferably have no formal work experience in the field they are applying for.
  3. Applicants who have not previously been appointed in an internship at UNISA or any other organization.
  4. Applicants must be UNISA graduates in the required fields of study.
  5. Applicants must be under the age of 35.
  6. The internship positions require candidates to accurately indicate their UNISA student number and the position reference number when submitting their application.

Additionally, applicants are required to submit individual applications for each position they wish to apply for.
