Eskom is offering bursaries for the following diploma programs:
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering (Light Current)
- Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Surveying Engineering
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizenship is a must.
- Matriculated in 2024 (Grade 12 results).
- First-time registration at a University of Technology for an engineering diploma.
- Applicants should not be in possession of any other bursary or be registered at any other tertiary institution.
Selection Criteria:
Your application will be considered based on your 2024 Grade 12 results. You should meet the following minimum subject requirements:
- English: Level 4 (50-59%)
- Pure Mathematics: Level 4 (50-59%)
- Physical Science: Level 4 (50-59%)
Additionally, applicants must have conditional acceptance from a University of Technology to study one of the listed engineering diplomas.
