Programme Overview

Motus Toyota Strijdom Park is looking for an Apprentice Level 1 to join its team and undergo an Apprentice Training Programme for up to three years.

The opportunity is suited to candidates who are interested in vehicle repairs and want to develop their skills with the goal of becoming a Motor Mechanic Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with vehicle repairs.
• Remove and replace vehicle parts and components.
• Jack up vehicles and use trestles safely.
• Assist with lubrication and oil changes under supervision.
• Remove and replace wheels.
• Remove and fit air and oil filters.
• Assist with general vehicle repairs.
• Remove and fit batteries.
• Clean parts and maintain good housekeeping.
• Attend prescribed technical and level courses.
• Keep tools and equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean workshop and work area.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.

Requirements

• Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science.
• Technical Matric will be advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage.
• Must have a clear criminal record.
• Technical skills will be advantageous.
• Good customer orientation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
