OUT Next Top Talent is a 3-day event for you to learn the ins and OUTs of our Actuarial & Analytics department. It is also a contest – you will be assigned topics and have the opportunity to pitch your ideas to a panel of our senior leadership, possibly securing you prize money and a job offer for employment in 2026.
You need to be studying towards an Honours or Masters Degree in either Actuarial Science or a Data Science related field (Statistics, Maths etc.) in 2026. You need to have an interest in the world of data science, modelling of actuarial and/or operational concepts and creating solutions to real-world business problems.
What You’ll Gain?

- If selected for participation, further prizes of up to R7,000 are up for grabs. This means the stand-OUT participant will walk away from the event with R10,000 in cash!
