Programme Overview
The YES4Youth Programme is a national initiative designed to give unemployed young people valuable workplace experience. Through this 12-month learnership, participants will gain practical exposure in a retail sales environment while developing essential customer service and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets.
- Deliver excellent customer service to all clients.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Provide accurate product knowledge and application advice.
- Assist with additional duties within the branch when required.
- Follow company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain proper housekeeping standards on the sales floor.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
- Must be a Black South African citizen as defined by BEE regulations.
- Age: 18–34 years.
- Must be currently unemployed.
- Applicants must not have previously participated in the YES Programme.
